Four Programmes. Built for the Skills That Matter.
Each AfterClass programme targets a specific area students commonly struggle to apply independently. Students are taught a clear process, practise it with guidance, and learn how to apply it confidently to school and examination questions.
Writing to Score
Plan it. Develop it. Write it to score.
Format
Students learn to work with the PSLE format where they choose one of three given pictures and weave it into a story that fits a given theme. They learn how to interpret the theme, select the most workable picture, and build a complete composition around both constraints.
Students work on
- Understanding the given theme
- Choosing the most workable picture
- Connecting the chosen picture to the theme
- Generating relevant ideas from the picture
- Planning a complete and logical storyline
- Developing meaningful events
- Building character actions, feelings and motivations
- Writing purposeful dialogue
- Using descriptive details effectively
- Developing stronger openings
- Building tension and story development
- Writing meaningful conclusions
- Improving vocabulary and expression
- Editing and improving their own compositions
Students develop a repeatable process for interpreting a theme, selecting a picture and writing a complete composition that addresses both.
One Programme. Clear Skills. Structured Progression.
AfterClass programmes are designed around specific academic skills rather than simply covering more worksheets. Each programme follows a structured sequence of explicit teaching, guided practice, independent application and feedback.
Programmes can be delivered as regular enrichment classes, targeted intervention programmes, holiday programmes or customised programme blocks depending on the needs of the centre and student group.
A Programme, Not Just a Tutor
AfterClass does more than place an educator in your centre. Each programme is supported by a structured curriculum, purpose-built lesson materials, teaching frameworks and a clear learning progression. This creates greater consistency across lessons and gives students a more structured learning experience.
See what your students and parents receive
Every programme includes structured teaching materials, individual marking and clear parent communication—not just a tutor standing in front of a class.

Student Booklets
Structured lesson and practice materials aligned with the Singapore MOE syllabus.

Marked Student Work
Individual corrections and actionable feedback for every student.

Parent Progress Updates
Concise monthly updates that centres can share with parents.

Lesson Structure
Consistent lesson plans and teaching objectives across every class.
A stronger academic offering—without building it yourself
Offer parents structured academic support while AfterClass handles the teaching, curriculum, materials, marking and academic quality.
Strengthen your parent offering
